Top 5 Weight Loss Books
We are all fed up with all the commercials about pills and products for weight loss, sometimes do not inspire trust but with the promise of a rapid weight loss, right? Maybe you are one of those who purchased and tried the product, and you were disappointed or in some worse case, left with health issues.
Probably you were disappointed and feel without help in your battle with the some suborn extra kilos. You are thinking what to do to get rid of the extra weight, to tone your body, to look more attractive and to fit in your clothes? Solutions are if you inform yourself. Probably you don’t have the time or money to spend on nutritionists or gym instructors. The most convenient solution: books, but books with quality, researched and qualified information. Let me share the top 5 weight loss books which I find very useful.
When you want to lose weight, you should keep in mind the following 3 aspects: nutrition, sport, and attitude.
One of the basic principles in Chinese medicine is that any surplus corresponds to a minus, and any minus, an excess. So, often, surplus weight can translate into a lack of attention, care, love, validation, manifested in an important sector of our lives, self-sacrifice, etc. Just as weight deficiency can indicate an excess of worries, tasks, responsibilities, work, etc. In both cases, however, what is lacking is, in fact, insufficient love and care for one’s own person. For this reason, addressing the symptom – excess or weight deficiency – does not solve the problem. Because the real cause is not addressed.

What I like about this book are the people’s testimonials on fasting.

How To Get Motivation
When you plan to start a diet or a weight loss program, you need motivation. Samantha Clayton, former Olympic champion of athletics says “you need to understand that exercises help you feel good, releasing endorphins and making you feel better. Caring for you gives you confidence, helps you feel stronger, especially when you make progress on your path to bringing your body to normal. I think when people make progress towards their goal they feel good, and this inspires them to take the next steps. When people feel too tired, they do not have the time or just do not do anything, laziness brings laziness. If you go through a low energy period, the lazier you feel, the greater the need for energy. Most often, when we feel the need for energy, we go to sweet snacks, and then we enter a terrible cycle like ‘I’m tired, I need caffeine or sugar.'”
She focused on fitness and became a personal coach at the American Fitness and Aerobics Association (AFAA) and the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).
You can find the books in different formats, choose the one which suits you best. I prefer to feel the book in my hands, you can call it old fashion. If you combine the nutrition, sport, and attitude, you will get results. The results are individual and based on each on one care, time dedicated and emotional baggage involved.
What book do you like? If you have other recommendation I would be happy to hear, just leave a comment in the comments section below.
Till next time, stay healthy!
